The Rossoneri are reportedly set to resume their chase for the Brazilian international after balking at Sevilla’s €20million asking price last summer.
Fabiano told La Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper: “A year ago there was also talk of a switch to the Rossoneri for me.
“I like Milan. Ronaldinho and [Alexandre] Pato are two champions and two friends of mine.”
The 29-year-old, who is in the Brazil squad for the World Cup finals, has endured a difficult season at Sevilla, coming under intense criticism from the Spanish press.
“They wrote that I was only focused on the tournament in South Africa and that many of my physical problems were a figment of my imagination,” he explained.
“I still have one year on my contract with Sevilla, but I think that I could move on after the World Cup and I will talk to President Jose Maria del Nido.”
