Emmanuel Adebayor is unlikely to leave Manchester City for AC Milan after his agent Stephane Courbis cast doubts over a move.

Il Corriere dello Sport had reported a strong interest from Milan in the former Arsenal man. They claimed Adebayor is not guaranteed regular football under Roberto Mancini, and that Silvio Berlusconi, the Rossoneri president, has long been an admirer of the hitman.

But his agent appears to have killed off all possibilities of a summer exit, claiming he is unaware of any Milan interest.

"I don't know anything about this. Milan have not contacted me, neither have Manchester City," the agent told Calciomercato.it.

"Is he unhappy at City? I don't have anything to say about this."
